Looney Math Scale Cartoon

Pillow Sewing 2011






FINALLY! After sewing several of small projects to demonstrate mastery of hand sewing, the kids got to begin sewing their pillows. You can tell based on their expressions how happy they are!

Design a Tunic Pattern

Once the pattern is cut, sew the tunic using a back stitch.




Designing a pattern is simple once you gather the proper materials. Our students will use one of their shirts as a template to design a medieval tunic.

I-POD cozy

Before students begin sewing projects on the fabric they purchased, we designed a couple smaller projects on classroom scrap fabric. That way, students will be able to trouble shoot before they sew on fabric they have invested money in.
