8th Grade Social Justice Screen Printing

8th grade students were introduced to Shepard Fairey and his artwork to inspire ideas for Social Justice Screen Printing. Students really dove in to the creation of art that they could print and wear. So proud of their efforts and causes!

8th Grade Graffiti Wall

Stencils, Spray Paint, and a Graffiti Wall- what's there not to love? Especially when you can practice spray painting your stencil directly on a Graffiti Wall- how cool is that! LOVE the Street Art unit and the complex mediums and tools that kids can explore with!

7th grade Ugly Dolls!

I am OBSESSED with these soft sculptures in the style of Ugly Dolls! This project was a project to that followed intro to sewing that helped reinforce student understanding on the running stitch, back-tack, and sewing on a button. Such a fun and engaging project!
