Here are a few student samples that are in progess.
8th Grade Expressions student will begin their American Icon recycled art collage. Each student will choose an 8 x 10 image that reflects iconic value.

The color image will then be glued to a piece of 9 x 12 white construction paper.

Recycle material of old magazines, along with construction and tissue paper will be used to create the collage.

Students begin by ripping scraps of paper in the colors of their image.

Those shreds of thumbnail size paper will be glued directly on top if the color image, making sure to cover the image entirely.
The final product will reflect a unique recycle art collage!
