Back in January I wrote a post about using art stations as a way to tie up loose ends when a unit comes to a close. What transpired was a whole lot more! The February
Art Station work became the Early Finisher work during the course of the month of February. When students finished their projects they had 3 art enrichment projects to choose from (Valentine Themed), an art contest to participate in and themed puzzles (Black History Month, Valentines day).
When incorporating more choice into the classroom, consider utilizing your Early Finisher assignments as a means to integrate cross-curricular concepts. I found the variety of choices kept students engaged and on task. Here is the link to the
